On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees— from palms, willows and other leafy trees— and rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.

On the first day you must get branches from palms, willows and other leafy trees. You must be filled with joy in front of the Lord your God for seven days.

And you shall take on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.

On the first day gather branches from magnificent trees— palm fronds, boughs from leafy trees, and willows that grow by the streams. Then celebrate with joy before the Lord your God for seven days.

On the first day you are to take the product of majestic trees— palm fronds, boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook— and rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.

守节的时候，你和你儿女、仆婢，并住在你城里的利未人，以及寄居的与孤儿寡妇，都要欢乐。在耶和华所选择的地方，你当向耶和华你的神守节七日；因为耶和华你神在你一切的土产上和你手里所办的事上要赐福与你，你就非常地欢乐。

你们要靠主常常喜乐。我再说，你们要喜乐。

他们见律法上写着，耶和华藉摩西吩咐以色列人要在七月节住棚，并要在各城和耶路撒冷宣传报告说：“你们当上山，将橄榄树、野橄榄树、番石榴树、棕树，和各样茂密树的枝子取来，照着所写的搭棚。”于是百姓出去，取了树枝来，各人在自己的房顶上，或院内，或神殿的院内，或水门的宽阔处，或以法莲门的宽阔处搭棚。从掳到之地归回的全会众就搭棚，住在棚里。从嫩的儿子约书亚的时候直到这日，以色列人没有这样行。于是众人大大喜乐。

就拿着棕树枝出去迎接他，喊着说：“和散那！奉主名来的以色列王是应当称颂的！”

你们现在也是忧愁，但我要再见你们，你们的心就喜乐了；这喜乐也没有人能夺去。

并且耶和华救赎的民必归回，歌唱来到锡安；永乐必归到他们的头上；他们必得着欢喜快乐，忧愁叹息尽都逃避。

你们虽然没有见过他，却是爱他；如今虽不得看见，却因信他就有说不出来、满有荣光的大喜乐；

你们爱慕耶路撒冷的都要与她一同欢喜快乐；你们为她悲哀的都要与她一同乐上加乐；

此后，我观看，见有许多的人，没有人能数过来，是从各国、各族、各民、各方来的，站在宝座和羔羊面前，身穿白衣，手拿棕树枝，

不但如此，我们既藉着我主耶稣基督得与神和好，也就藉着他以神为乐。

因为真受割礼的，乃是我们这以神的灵敬拜、在基督耶稣里夸口、不靠着肉体的。

众人多半把衣服铺在路上；还有人砍下树枝来铺在路上。

义人要发旺如棕树，生长如黎巴嫩的香柏树。
