第一天你们要拿果树的美果、棕树枝、茂密的大树枝和溪边的杨柳枝，在耶和华你们的神面前欢乐七天。

On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees— from palms, willows and other leafy trees— and rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.

On the first day you must get branches from palms, willows and other leafy trees. You must be filled with joy in front of the Lord your God for seven days.

And you shall take on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.

On the first day gather branches from magnificent trees— palm fronds, boughs from leafy trees, and willows that grow by the streams. Then celebrate with joy before the Lord your God for seven days.

On the first day you are to take the product of majestic trees— palm fronds, boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook— and rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.

在这节期以内，你和你的儿女、仆婢，以及住在你城里的利未人、寄居者、孤儿和寡妇，都要欢乐。你要在耶和华选择的地方，向耶和华你的神守节七日，因为耶和华你的神，要在你一切土产上，和你手所作的一切事上，赐福给你，你就满有欢乐。

你们要靠着主常常喜乐，我再说，你们要喜乐。

他们发现律法上记载，耶和华曾藉着摩西吩咐以色列人，要在七月的节期中，住在棚里，并且要在自己的城里和在耶路撒冷宣扬布告说：“你们要上到山上，把橄榄树枝、油木树枝、番石榴枝、棕树枝和树叶繁茂大树的枝子带回来，照着律法所写的搭棚。”于是众民出去，把树枝带回来，各人在自己的房顶上，在院子里，神的院中，水门的广场，或是在以法莲门的广场搭棚。从被掳归回的全体会众都搭了棚，并且住在棚里；从嫩的儿子约书亚的时候，直到那日，以色列人都没有这样行过。大家都非常快乐。

就拿着棕树枝出去迎接他，欢呼说：“和散那，奉主名来的以色列王，是应当称颂的！”

现在你们也有忧愁；但我要再见你们，你们的心就会喜乐，你们的喜乐是没有人能够夺去的。

蒙耶和华赎回的人必归回，必欢呼地来到锡安；永远的喜乐必临到他们的头上；他们必得着欢喜和快乐，忧愁和叹息都必逃跑了。

你们虽然没有见过他，却爱他；现在虽然不能看见他，却信他。因此，你们就有无法形容、满有荣耀的大喜乐，

所有爱慕耶路撒冷的人哪！你们都要与她一同欢喜，都要因她快乐；所有为耶路撒冷哀悼的人哪！你们都要与她一同尽情欢乐。

这些事以后，我观看，见有一大群人，没有人能数得过来，是从各邦国、各支派、各民族、各方言来的。他们都站在宝座和羊羔面前，身穿白袍，手里拿着棕树枝。

不但这样，我们现在已经藉着我们的主耶稣基督与神复和，也藉着他以神为荣。

其实我们这些靠神的灵来敬拜，在基督耶稣里夸口而不倚靠肉体的人，才是受割礼的，

有一大群人把自己的衣服铺在路上，也有人从树上把树枝砍下来，铺在路上。

义人必像棕树一样繁茂，像黎巴嫩的香柏树一样高耸。
