外此更當守我安息日、亦必償爾所許之願、樂輸、禮物、以獻於我。

六日間宜操作、越至七日乃安息、必有聖會、悉休其工、無論所往、必守安息、以奉事我。

當以安息日為聖日、永誌勿忘。六日間宜操作、越至七日、則耶和華、爾上帝之安息日也、是日、爾與子女僕婢牲畜、及遠人主於爾家者、皆勿操作、蓋六日間、耶和華造天地海萬物、七日止、故耶和華以安息日為聖日、而錫嘏焉、

敬爾父母、守我安息日、我耶和華爾之上帝所命如此、

族中最著者、至耶路撒冷、樂輸禮物、修葺耶和華上帝之殿、量力納庫、以畀百工、金三十六萬六千兩、銀二十五萬兩、祭司之衣百襲。

上帝之殿、我素仰慕、所備建聖室外、取己所有之金銀以獻。即阿妃之金、四百五十萬兩、煆煉之銀、一千有五十萬兩、以飾殿墻。金銀皆適所用、俾匠咸興工作、今有何人、從心所願、竭忠奉事耶和華乎。於是以色列族長、與族中最著者、及千夫長、百夫長、一切為王督役之人、俱樂輸焉。得金七百五十六萬兩、銀一千五百萬兩、銅二千七百萬兩、鐵一萬五千萬兩、以供上帝殿之用。有寶石者、則上獻、入耶和華殿之府庫、革順裔耶葉掌之。

七日上帝工竣、乃憩息、是日上帝畢其事而安息、故以七日為聖日、而錫嘏焉。○
