那時所羅門守節七日，從哈馬口直到埃及溪谷的以色列眾人都與他同在一起，成了一個極其盛大的會。第八日他們舉行嚴肅會，行奉獻壇的禮七日，守節七日。七月二十三日，王差遣百姓回自己的帳棚去；他們為耶和華向大衛和所羅門，以及他百姓以色列所施的恩惠，心裏都歡喜快樂。所羅門建完了耶和華的殿和王宮；在耶和華的殿和王宮的工程上，凡他心中所要做的，都順利做成了。
