It is a day of sabbath rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath.”

That day is a day of sabbath rest for you. You must rest on it. You must not eat anything on that day. You must follow the rules of the sabbath rest. Follow them from the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening.”

It shall be to you a Sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict yourselves. On the ninth day of the month beginning at evening, from evening to evening shall you keep your Sabbath.”

This will be a Sabbath day of complete rest for you, and on that day you must deny yourselves. This day of rest will begin at sundown on the ninth day of the month and extend until sundown on the tenth day.”

It will be a Sabbath of complete rest for you, and you must practice self-denial. You are to observe your Sabbath from the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening.”

It is to be a Sabbath of complete rest for you, and you shall humble yourselves; on the ninth of the month at evening, from evening until evening, you shall keep your Sabbath.”

凡勞苦負重者就我、我賜爾安、我溫柔謙遜、負我軛而學我、則爾心獲安、蓋吾軛易、吾負輕也、

故是日為安息日、當卑以自牧、著為永例。

彼有疾、予衣麻禁食、哀痛迫切、低首祈禱兮。

七月十日、為贖罪之期、必有聖會、當卑以自牧、獻燔祭於我、

凡在郇邑、哀哭者使不蒙塵、而冠花冠、不喪膽、不殷憂、懽然頌美、若沐以膏油、若被以麗服、譬彼茂林、耶和華所植、以彰其榮、

吾哭泣禁食、人以為辱兮、我以麻為衣、人託詞以哂笑兮、

爾所欲之祭、在乎痛悔、有此衷懷、必不見棄兮。

苟能自審、奚至定罪、

淚而播者、必喜而穫兮、出而播種、雖有憂傷、及其歸也、同攜禾束、欣喜不勝兮。

彼曰、我已禁食、卑以自牧、爾不垂顧、其意何居、曰、爾雖禁食、乃縱私欲、威迫傭人。是爾禁食、依然作惡、與人爭競、揮拳敺擊、夫如是豈得升聞於上哉。爾禁食之時、卑以自牧、屈抑若蘆、身衣麻布、坐於塗炭、我耶和華豈悅此乎。為強暴故拘繫者、當縱之自逸、釋人重負、伸人屈抑、折人衡軛、禁食若此、我何不喜。饑者食之、貧者寓之、裸者衣之、戚屬遭難、毋掩面而不睹。

故當黽勉、享其安息、恐有傚古人之不信、而自暴者、

惟我信者、得享上帝安息、經云、我怒誓不許不信者享吾安息、此言上帝創世之時、事畢而安息、

我永生之主、至聖至高、居聖所、坐高位、凡謙卑遜順者、我與偕居、活潑其心神、暢快其意志。

我見其所為、我將醫之、導之以行、慰藉其心、以解厥憂。耶和華又曰、我錫平康、遍於遐邇、醫民之疾、使人祝謝、

哀慟者福矣、以其將受慰也、
