工要六日之間作；但第七日是完全歇工的安息日、有聖聚會；甚麼工都不可作：在你們一切的住所、這是歸永恆主的安息日。

“‘ There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a sabbath to the Lord.

“‘ There are six days when you can work. But the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest. You must rest on it. Come together on that sacred day. You must not do any work on it. No matter where you live, it is a Sabbath day to honor the Lord.

“ Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places.

“ You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of complete rest, an official day for holy assembly. It is the Lord’s Sabbath day, and it must be observed wherever you live.

“ Work may be done for six days, but on the seventh day there is to be a Sabbath of complete rest, a sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; it is a Sabbath to the LORD wherever you live.

『六日要作你的工；第七日要休息，好使你的牛和驢得以歇息，你使女的兒子和寄居的也得以舒暢舒暢。

『六日要勞碌，但第七日你就要休息；在耕種收割的時候、也要休息。

有一主日、我身在靈境中、聽見有大聲音在我後面像號筒的聲音

『要記得安息日，分別為聖。六日要勞碌，作你一切的工。但第七日是屬永恆主你的上帝的安息日；這一日、你跟你兒子和女兒、你奴僕和使女、你的牲口、以及你城內的寄居者，一切的工都不可作。因為六日之內、永恆主造天、地、海、和其中的萬物，第七日便歇息；所以永恆主賜福與安息之日，分別為聖。

會堂管事因惱怒耶穌在安息日治病，就公然對羣眾說：『有六天應當作工；故此六天之內儘可以來治病，可不要在安息之日啊。』

謹守安息日而不瀆犯它，禁止己手、不作任何壞事，這樣行的人、持守這道的人有福啊！』

『至於那些外族人、皈依永恆主，以伺候他，以祝頌永恆主的名，而做他僕人的，個個謹守安息日、不瀆犯安息日、而能持守我的約的，

摩西對他們說：『永恆主是這樣說的：「明天是完全歇息的日子，是向永恆主守的聖安息；你們要烤的就烤，要煮的就煮：凡所餘剩的要給自己存放着，留到早晨。」』

六日要勞碌，作你一切的工。但第七日是屬永恆主你的上帝的安息日；這一日、你跟你兒子和女兒、你奴僕和使女、你的牛、驢、和一切牲口、以及你城內的寄居者，一切的工都不可作，好叫你的奴僕和使女可以和你一樣歇息。

『你若從安息日掉轉你的腳步，在我的聖日不作你自己喜歡作的事，只稱安息日為有樂趣，稱永恆主之聖日為可尊重，而你若尊重它，不行你自己的路，不尋求你自己喜歡作的事，不說你的廢話，

『你要告訴以色列人說：「你們務要守我的安息日，因為這是我與你們之間世世代代的憑證，使人知道我永恆主是把你們分別為聖的。你們要守安息日，因為這是給予你們的聖日；凡瀆犯這日的、必須被處死；凡在這日作工的、那人必須從他的族人中被剪除。六日要作工，但第七日卻是完全歇工的安息日，歸永恆主為聖的；凡在安息之日作工的、必須被處死。故此以色列人要守安息日，代代遵行安息日的制度、作為永遠的約。這是我和以色列人之間永遠的憑證，因為六日之內永恆主造了天地，第七日便休息而舒暢舒暢。」』

你們看，永恆主將安息日賜給你們，所以第六天他賜給你們兩天的食物：第七天各人要住在自己的所在；各人都不要出自己的地方。』

因為論到摩西嘛、從古代以來，在各城裏自有宣傳他的人，每安息日在會堂裏、他的書都被宣讀着。』

然後回去，豫備香料香膏。安息日便遵照誡命靜歇着。
