当这日，什么工都不可做；因为是赎罪日，要在耶和华你们的神面前赎罪。

是日無論何工、悉毋作、以其為贖罪日、可為爾贖罪於天主耶和華前、

Do not do any work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the Lord your God.

Do not do any work on that day. It is the day when sin is paid for. On that day your sin will be paid for in my sight. I am the Lord your God.

And you shall not do any work on that very day, for it is a Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God.

Do no work during that entire day because it is the Day of Atonement, when offerings of purification are made for you, making you right with the Lord your God.

On this particular day you are not to do any work, for it is a Day of Atonement to make atonement for yourselves before the LORD your God.

You shall not do any work on this very day, for it is a Day of Atonement, to make atonement on your behalf before the Lord your God.

And you shall do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God.

And ye shall do no manner of work in that same day; for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before Jehovah your God.

On this particular day you are not to do any work, for it is a Day of Atonement to make atonement for yourselves before the Lord your God.

And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it[ is] a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.

You must not do any work on this particular day, because it is a day of atonement to make atonement for yourselves before the LORD your God.

You shall do no kind of work in that same day, for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before Yahweh your God.

“ This is to be a lasting ordinance for you: Atonement is to be made once a year for all the sins of the Israelites.” And it was done, as the Lord commanded Moses. (niv)

For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. (niv)

Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. (niv)

For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (niv)

He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. (niv)

Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. (niv)

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (niv)

This is the one who came by water and blood— Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. (niv)

See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua! There are seven eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,’ says the Lord Almighty,‘ and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day. (niv)

“ Seventy‘ sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place. (niv)

He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. (niv)
