“ The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present a food offering to the Lord.

“ The tenth day of the seventh month is the day when sin is paid for. Come together for a special service. Do not eat any food. Bring a food offering to the Lord.

“ Now on the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. It shall be for you a time of holy convocation, and you shall afflict yourselves and present a food offering to the Lord.

“ Be careful to celebrate the Day of Atonement on the tenth day of that same month— nine days after the Festival of Trumpets. You must observe it as an official day for holy assembly, a day to deny yourselves and present special gifts to the Lord.

“ The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. You are to hold a sacred assembly and practice self-denial; you are to present a food offering to the LORD.

“ On exactly the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble yourselves and present an offering by fire to the Lord.

“ Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the Lord.

Howbeit on the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement: it shall be a holy convocation unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

“ The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. You are to hold a sacred assembly and practice self-denial; you are to present a fire offering to the Lord.

“ However on the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement. It shall be a holy convocation to you. You shall afflict yourselves and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

“这是你们永远的定例：每年七月初十，你们要刻苦己心；无论是本地人，是寄居在你们中间的外人，任何工都不可做。因为这日要为你们赎罪，洁净你们，使你们脱离一切的罪，在耶和华面前得以洁净。这日你们要守完全安息的安息日，刻苦己心；这是永远的定例。

“他要宰那只为百姓作赎罪祭的公山羊，把羊的血带入幔子内，把血弹在柜盖的上面和前面，好像弹公牛的血一样。

亚伦每年一次要为坛的四个翘角赎罪。他每年一次要用赎罪祭的血为坛赎罪，作为世世代代的定例。这坛在耶和华面前是至圣的。”

又要在圣处用水洗身，穿上衣服出来，把自己的燔祭和百姓的燔祭献上，为自己和百姓赎罪。

“亚伦要把他自己赎罪祭的公牛献上，为自己和家人赎罪，他要宰作自己赎罪祭的公牛。

七月初十，你要大声吹角；这是赎罪日，你要在全地吹角。

那时，我—但以理悲伤了三个七日；美味我没有吃，酒和肉没有入我的口，也没有用油抹我的身，直到满了三个七日。

众人听见这话，觉得扎心，就对彼得和其余的使徒说：“诸位弟兄，我们该怎样做呢？”彼得对他们说：“你们各人要悔改，奉耶稣基督的名受洗，使你们的罪得赦免，就会领受所赐的圣灵。

“七月初十，你们当有圣会；要刻苦己心，任何工都不可做。要将一头公牛犊、一只公绵羊、七只一岁的小公羊，都是没有残疾的，献给耶和华为馨香的燔祭。要同时献调了油的细面为素祭：每头公牛要献十分之三伊法；每只公绵羊要献十分之二伊法；为那七只小公羊，每只要献十分之一伊法。又要献一只公山羊为赎罪祭。这是在赎罪祭和经常献的燔祭，以及同献的素祭和浇酒祭以外所献的。”

因为依着上帝的意思而忧愁，就生出没有懊悔的悔改来，以致得救；但世俗的忧愁叫人死。你看，你们依着上帝的意思而忧愁，这在你们当中产生了何等的殷勤、甚至辩白、甚至愤慨、甚至恐惧、甚至渴望、甚至热忱、甚至责罚。在这一切事上，你们都表明自己是无可指责的。

那时，我在亚哈瓦河边宣告禁食，为要在我们上帝面前刻苦己心，求他使我们和我们的孩子，以及一切所有的，都得平坦的道路。

“我要将那施恩与恳求的灵，浇灌大卫家和耶路撒冷的居民。他们必仰望我，就是他们所扎的那位。他们必为他悲伤，如丧独子，又为他哀哭，如丧长子。

这岂是我所要的禁食，为人所用以刻苦己心的日子吗？我难道只是叫人如芦苇般低头，铺上麻布和灰烬吗？你能称此为禁食，为耶和华所悦纳的日子吗？

你们要愁苦，悲哀，哭泣；要将欢笑变为悲哀，欢乐变为愁闷。

至于我，他们有病的时候，我穿麻衣，禁食，刻苦己心；我所求的都归到自己身上。
