“ Say to the Israelites:‘ On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of sabbath rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts.

“ Say to the Israelites,‘ On the first day of the seventh month you must have a day of sabbath rest. It must be a special service announced with trumpet blasts.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall observe a day of solemn rest, a memorial proclaimed with blast of trumpets, a holy convocation.

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. On the first day of the appointed month in early autumn, you are to observe a day of complete rest. It will be an official day for holy assembly, a day commemorated with loud blasts of a trumpet.

“ Tell the Israelites: In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you are to have a day of complete rest, commemoration, and trumpet blasts— a sacred assembly.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying,‘ In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying:‘ In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, shall be a solemn rest unto you, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

“ Tell the Israelites: In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you are to have a day of complete rest, commemoration, and joyful shouting— a sacred assembly.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first[ day] of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

“ Tell the Israelites,‘ In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you must have a complete rest, a memorial announced by loud horn blasts, a holy assembly.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying,‘ In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, there shall be a solemn rest for you, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

在七月初十，你要吹角，在贖罪日，角聲要響遍你的全地。

你們在本地與欺壓你們的仇敵作戰的時候，就要吹大聲，使你們在耶和華你們的神面前得蒙記念，也得拯救脫離你們的仇敵。此外，在你們快樂的日子和指定的節期，以及月朔，你們獻燔祭和平安祭的時候，也要吹號，這都要在你們的神面前替你們作為記念；我是耶和華你們的神。”

要用號筒和號角的聲音，在大君王耶和華面前歡呼。

因為主必親自從天降臨，那時，有發令的聲音，有天使長的呼聲，還有神的號聲，那些在基督裡死了的人必先復活；

吹號的和歌唱的都一致同聲地讚美稱謝耶和華。他們吹號、敲鈸，用各種樂器高聲讚美耶和華，說：“耶和華是良善的，他的慈愛永遠長存。”那時雲彩充滿了那殿，就是耶和華的殿。

“‘七月第一日，你們要有聖會；甚麼勞碌的工都不可作。這是你們吹角的日子。你們要把燔祭作馨香的祭獻給耶和華，就是一頭公牛犢、一隻公綿羊、七隻一歲沒有殘疾的公羊羔。同獻的素祭，是用油調和的細麵，為每頭公牛要獻上三公斤；為每隻公綿羊要獻上兩公斤；為那七隻公羊羔，每隻要獻一公斤；還要獻一隻公山羊作贖罪祭，為你們贖罪；在月初的燔祭和同獻的素祭、常獻的燔祭和同獻的素祭，以及照例同獻的奠祭以外，還要獻上這些給耶和華作馨香的火祭。

要向神我們的力量歡呼，要向雅各的神大聲呼叫。要唱詩歌，打手鼓，彈奏美好的琴瑟。要在月朔，在月望，在我們守節的日子吹角。因為這是給以色列的律例，是雅各的神的典章。

從七月一日起，他們就開始向耶和華獻燔祭，但是那時耶和華的殿還沒有立定根基，

到那日，必有大號角吹響，那些在亞述地快要滅亡的，以及那些被趕散在埃及地的，都要前來，在耶路撒冷的聖山上敬拜耶和華。

這樣，以色列人歡呼、吹角、吹號、敲鈸、鼓瑟、彈琴，大聲奏樂，把耶和華的約櫃抬了上來。
