“在你们的地收割庄稼，不可割尽田角，也不可拾取所遗落的；要留给穷人和寄居的。我是耶和华你们的神。”

你们收割时，不可割尽田角地边的庄稼，也不可捡落在地里的。要把这些留给穷人和外族人。我是你们的上帝耶和华。”

穫田所產、當留其隅、毋拾遺穗、惟賓旅與貧乏者可得、我耶和華爾之上帝所命如此。○

爾刈獲地之所產、毋刈至田隅、刈時所遺毋拾、當捨與貧民與外邦客旅、我乃主爾之天主、○

“‘ When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you. I am the Lord your God.’”

“‘ Suppose you are gathering your crops. Then do not harvest all the way to the edges of your field. And do not pick up the grain you missed. Leave some for the poor people and the outsiders who live among you. I am the Lord your God.’ ”

“ And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, nor shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the Lord your God.”

“ When you harvest the crops of your land, do not harvest the grain along the edges of your fields, and do not pick up what the harvesters drop. Leave it for the poor and the foreigners living among you. I am the Lord your God.”

爾與子女僕婢、暨居爾中之利未人、以及賓旅孤寡、咸在爾上帝耶和華所選寄名之處、樂於其前、爾當追憶、昔在埃及為奴、必守此典、而遵行之、○禾場酒醡所出、爾既斂藏、當守構廬節七日、節期之間、爾與子女僕婢、暨居爾邑之利未人、以及賓旅孤寡、俱必喜樂、

婦既起而拾遺、波阿斯命其少者曰、容其在禾束間拾遺、勿責之、可由禾束、少抽數莖、故遺於地、容其拾之、勿叱之、路得在田拾穗、至於薄暮、撲其所拾、得麰麥約一伊法、取之入邑以示姑、亦以果腹所餘者、出而與姑、姑曰、爾今日拾穗何處、工作何方、願顧爾者得福、婦以所與工作之人告姑曰、今日我所與工作者、名波阿斯、拿俄米謂媳曰、彼施恩於存者亡者弗輟、願耶和華錫嘏之、又曰、其人為我近戚、可贖我產者、此其一也、摩押女路得曰、彼謂我雲、附近我少者、迨及刈畢、拿俄米曰、我女歟、汝與其使女偕出、不令人見爾於他田、善也、由是路得與波阿斯使女偕、而拾穗焉、迨麰麥小麥盡刈、仍與姑居、

遂往於田、從穫者後、而拾所遺、偶至以利米勒家波阿斯之田、波阿斯自伯利恆至、謂穫者曰、願耶和華偕爾、對曰、願耶和華錫嘏於爾、波阿斯問督穫之僕曰、此為誰氏女、督穫之僕曰、乃摩押女、與拿俄米自摩押偕來、彼曰、請容我從穫者後、在禾束間以拾所遺、彼至、自朝迄今在此、惟有時少待於廬耳、

故擬須請兄弟先詣爾、使爾昔所允之惠、預為之備、俾由樂輸、非由勉強也、○夫少稼少穡、多稼多穡、宜各隨心志、毋憂毋強、蓋上帝愛夫樂施者也、上帝能沛諸恩於爾、令爾萬事恆足、溢於諸善、如經云、彼散財矣、彼濟貧矣、其義永存、主賜種與播者、賜糧與食者、所賜者將倍爾所播之種、增爾行義之實、俾爾凡事富有、得以博施、致人由我儕而謝上帝、蓋此供事之役、不第補聖徒之空乏、且因感謝之多、而得充裕也、

有博施而益增加、有過吝而致貧乏、好施濟者、必得豐腴、潤澤人者、必受潤澤、

豈非頒食於飢者、導流離之貧民、寓於爾室、見裸者而衣之、不掩面於骨肉乎、若此、爾之輝光、必著若朝暉、爾之得醫、將速見其效、爾之公義、顯於爾前、我耶和華之榮光、衛於爾後、

我若禁貧者得其所願、使嫠婦之目失望、一飯之微、我若獨食、不與孤子共之、其實我自幼年、收養孤子、如育於父、自出母腹、引導媰孀、我若見人無衣而亡、貧者無服蔽體、其人若未得衣、為我祝嘏、其身若未以我羊羢而煖、我在邑門、見有助我者、即舉手以攻孤子、

眷顧貧乏者福矣、遭難之日、耶和華必援之兮、耶和華必佑之、使之生存、獲福於斯土、勿付之於敵、以遂其欲兮、彼委頓在牀、耶和華必扶持之、於疾病時、治其臥榻兮、

爾若去人之軛、不指摘、不妄言、施仁慈於飢人、滿困苦者之欲、爾之輝光、必見於暗、爾之晦冥、必若日中之明、

彼散財、彼濟貧、其義永存、其角以榮高舉兮、

惟以在內者施濟、則於爾無不潔矣、○
