The priest is to wave the two lambs before the Lord as a wave offering, together with the bread of the firstfruits. They are a sacred offering to the Lord for the priest.

耶和华对亚伦说：“我已经把保留归我的举祭，就是以色列人一切分别为圣的物，都赐给你和你的子孙，作为永远应得的分。以色列人所献一切不经过火、至圣的供物，就是一切素祭、一切赎罪祭和一切赎愆祭，都要作至圣的物，归给你和你的子孙。你要在至圣的地方吃，凡是男的都可以吃；你要以此物为圣。以色列人礼物中的举祭，与他们的摇祭，都是你的；我已经给了你和你的儿女，作为永远应得的分；在你家中洁净的人都可以吃。最好的油、最好的新酒和五谷，就是以色列人献给耶和华的初熟的物，我都赐给你。

要从你们的住处把两个饼带来作摇祭，每个是用细面两公斤，加酵烤成的，当作初熟之物献给耶和华。

我们既然在你们中间撒了属灵的种子，如果要从你们那里收获一些物质的供应，这算是过分吗？

你要把这一切都放在亚伦和他儿子的手上；你要在耶和华面前把他们摇动作摇祭。

“在至高之处，荣耀归与神！在地上，平安归与他所喜悦的人！”

“你要告诉以色列人：向耶和华献平安祭的，必须从他的平安祭中取出奉给耶和华的供物。亲手把献给耶和华的火祭带来，就是把脂肪连胸带来，在耶和华面前摇一摇，作为摇祭。祭司要把脂肪焚烧在祭坛上，胸归给亚伦和他的子孙。你们要从平安祭牲中，拿右后腿来作举祭，奉给祭司。亚伦的子孙中，谁献平安祭牲的血和脂肪，右后腿就归给他，是他的分。因为我从以色列人的平安祭中，取出了这摇祭的胸和举祭的后腿，给亚伦祭司和他的子孙，成为以色列人中永远的律例。
