“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: These are my appointed times, the times of the LORD that you will proclaim as sacred assemblies.

“ Speak to the Israelites and say to them:‘ These are my appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.

“ Speak to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ Here are my appointed feast days. They are the appointed feast days of the Lord. Tell the people that they must come together for these sacred assemblies.

“ Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, These are the appointed feasts of the Lord that you shall proclaim as holy convocations; they are my appointed feasts.

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, which you are to proclaim as official days for holy assembly.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ The Lord’s appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations— My appointed times are these:

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them:‘ The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, The set feasts of Jehovah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my set feasts.

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: These are My appointed times, the times of the Lord that you will proclaim as sacred assemblies.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,[ Concerning] the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim[ to be] holy convocations,[ even] these[ are] my feasts.

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them,‘ These are the LORD’s appointed times which you must proclaim as holy assemblies– my appointed times:

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them,‘ The set feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my set feasts.

“ These are the LORD’s appointed times, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times.

“ These are the LORD’s appointed times that you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for presenting food offerings to the LORD, burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, each on its designated day.

Blow the ram’s horn on the day of our feasts during the new moon and during the full moon.

I will put an end to all her celebrations: her feasts, New Moons, and Sabbaths— all her festivals.

“ Celebrate a festival in my honor three times a year.Observe the Festival of Unleavened Bread. As I commanded you, you are to eat unleavened bread for seven days at the appointed time in the month of Abib, because you came out of Egypt in that month. No one is to appear before me empty-handed.Also observe the Festival of Harvest with the firstfruits of your produce from what you sow in the field, and observe the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather your produce from the field.Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord GOD.

You are to sound the trumpets over your burnt offerings and your fellowship sacrifices and on your joyous occasions, your appointed festivals, and the beginning of each of your months. They will serve as a reminder for you before your God: I am the LORD your God.”

“ Offer these to the LORD at your appointed times in addition to your vow and freewill offerings, whether burnt, grain, drink, or fellowship offerings.”

Blow the ram’s horn in Zion! Announce a sacred fast; proclaim a solemn assembly.

On that same day you are to make a proclamation and hold a sacred assembly. You are not to do any daily work. This is to be a permanent statute wherever you live throughout your generations.

So Moses declared the LORD’s appointed times to the Israelites.

Look to the mountains— the feet of the herald, who proclaims peace. Celebrate your festivals, Judah; fulfill your vows. For the wicked one will never again march through you; he will be entirely wiped out.

Jehu commanded,“ Consecrate a solemn assembly for Baal.” So they called one.

so they affirmed the proposal and spread the message throughout all Israel, from Beer-sheba to Dan, to come to observe the Passover of the LORD, the God of Israel in Jerusalem, for they hadn’t observed it often, as prescribed.

Look at Zion, the city of our festival times. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful pasture, a tent that does not wander; its tent pegs will not be pulled up nor will any of its cords be loosened.

Stop bringing useless offerings. Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons and Sabbaths, and the calling of solemn assemblies— I cannot stand iniquity with a festival.I hate your New Moons and prescribed festivals. They have become a burden to me; I am tired of putting up with them.

Then the people of Nineveh believed God. They proclaimed a fast and dressed in sackcloth— from the greatest of them to the least.When word reached the king of Nineveh, he got up from his throne, took off his royal robe, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.Then he issued a decree in Nineveh: By order of the king and his nobles: No person or animal, herd or flock, is to taste anything at all. They must not eat or drink water.Furthermore, both people and animals must be covered with sackcloth, and everyone must call out earnestly to God. Each must turn from his evil ways and from his wrongdoing.Who knows? God may turn and relent; he may turn from his burning anger so that we will not perish.

After this, a Jewish festival took place, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

Announce a sacred fast; proclaim a solemn assembly! Gather the elders and all the residents of the land at the house of the LORD your God, and cry out to the LORD.

“ Make two trumpets of hammered silver to summon the community and have the camps set out.When both are sounded in long blasts, the entire community is to gather before you at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of it and made an announcement:“ There will be a festival to the LORD tomorrow.”

The roads to Zion mourn, for no one comes to the appointed festivals. All her gates are deserted; her priests groan, her young women grieve, and she herself is bitter.
