“‘ You must count for yourselves seven weeks from the day after the Sabbath, from the day you bring the wave offering sheaf; they must be complete weeks.

“‘ From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks.

“‘ The day you brought the grain for the wave offering was the day after the Sabbath. Count off seven full weeks from that day.

“ You shall count seven full weeks from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering.

“ From the day after the Sabbath— the day you bring the bundle of grain to be lifted up as a special offering— count off seven full weeks.

“ You are to count seven complete weeks starting from the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the presentation offering.

‘ You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete Sabbaths.

“ You must observe the Feast of Weeks– the firstfruits of the harvest of wheat– and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year.

You must count seven weeks; you must begin to count them from the time you begin to harvest the standing grain.Then you are to celebrate the Festival of Weeks before the LORD your God with the voluntary offering that you will bring, in proportion to how he has blessed you.

“‘ You must count off seven weeks of years, seven times seven years, and the days of the seven weeks of years will amount to forty-nine years.

“‘ Also, on the day of the first fruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the LORD during your Feast of Weeks, you are to have a holy assembly. You must do no ordinary work.
