“‘ From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks.

“‘ The day you brought the grain for the wave offering was the day after the Sabbath. Count off seven full weeks from that day.

“ You shall count seven full weeks from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering.

“ From the day after the Sabbath— the day you bring the bundle of grain to be lifted up as a special offering— count off seven full weeks.

“ You are to count seven complete weeks starting from the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the presentation offering.

‘ You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete Sabbaths.

“ Celebrate the Festival of Weeks with the firstfruits of the wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the year. (niv)

Count off seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain.Then celebrate the Festival of Weeks to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you. (niv)
