You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

你們要記住自己曾在埃及做過奴隸，因此要謹遵這些律例。

亞伯也把羊群中頭生的羊及其最肥美的部分獻給耶和華。耶和華悅納亞伯和他的祭物，卻不悅納該隱和他的祭物。該隱便非常惱火，面帶怒容。

你使他們知道你的神聖安息日，藉你僕人摩西賜給他們誡命、律例和法度。

你們要用初熟的麥子磨麵做餅，當作舉祭獻上，好像獻麥場的舉祭一樣。你們世世代代都要用初熟的麥子磨麵，當作舉祭獻給耶和華。

你們無論住在哪裡，都不可吃脂肪和血，這是你們世代永遠要遵守的條例。」

「你們到了迦南，在那裡栽種各樣果樹後，前三年不可吃樹上的果子，要視它們是不潔淨的。第四年，樹上的所有果子都是聖潔的，要獻給耶和華作頌讚之祭。第五年，你們可以吃樹上的果子。你們這樣做，果樹會為你們結出更多果子。我是你們的上帝耶和華。

第二天他們就吃當地的穀物，吃無酵餅和烤麥穗。他們吃了當地出產後的第二天，嗎哪便不再降下，以色列人再沒有嗎哪吃了。那一年他們開始吃迦南的出產。

你們必須將我藉摩西賜給以色列人的一切律例教導他們。」
