“ Speak to the Israelites and say to them:‘ When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest.

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. When you enter the land I am giving you and you harvest its first crops, bring the priest a bundle of grain from the first cutting of your grain harvest.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and you gather its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them:‘ When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring the sheaf of the first- fruits of your harvest unto the priest:

“ Bring the best firstfruits of your land to the house of the LORD your God.“ You must not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.”

“ On the day of firstfruits, you are to hold a sacred assembly when you present an offering of new grain to the LORD at your Festival of Weeks; you are not to do any daily work.

“ You are to count seven weeks, counting the weeks from the time the sickle is first put to the standing grain.

You may present them to the LORD as an offering of firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma.You are to season each of your grain offerings with salt; you must not omit from your grain offering the salt of the covenant with your God. You are to present salt with each of your offerings.“ If you present a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, you are to present fresh heads of grain, crushed kernels, roasted on the fire, for your grain offering of firstfruits.You are to put oil and frankincense on it; it is a grain offering.The priest will then burn some of its crushed kernels and oil with all its frankincense as a food offering to the LORD.

Also observe the Festival of Harvest with the firstfruits of your produce from what you sow in the field, and observe the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather your produce from the field.

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: After you enter the land where I am bringing you,you are to offer a contribution to the LORD when you eat from the food of the land.You are to offer a loaf from your first batch of dough as a contribution; offer it just like a contribution from the threshing floor.Throughout your generations, you are to give the LORD a contribution from the first batch of your dough.

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land I am giving you to settle in,

These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, since they remained virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were redeemed from humanity as the firstfruits for God and the Lamb.

By his own choice, he gave us birth by the word of truth so that we would be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

“ Observe the Festival of Weeks with the firstfruits of the wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the agricultural year.

The best of all the firstfruits of every kind and contribution of every kind from all your gifts will belong to the priests. You are to give your first batch of dough to the priest so that a blessing may rest on your homes.

Honor the LORD with your possessions and with the first produce of your entire harvest;then your barns will be completely filled, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

Bring two loaves of bread from your settlements as a presentation offering, each of them made from four quarts of fine flour, baked with yeast, as firstfruits to the LORD.

Now if the firstfruits are holy, so is the whole batch. And if the root is holy, so are the branches.
