If a resident foreigner is living with you– or whoever is among you in future generations– and prepares an offering made by fire as a pleasing aroma to the LORD, he must do it the same way you are to do it.One statute must apply to you who belong to the congregation and to the resident foreigner who is living among you, as a permanent statute for your future generations. You and the resident foreigner will be alike before the LORD.One law and one custom must apply to you and to the resident foreigner who lives alongside you.’”

“ But you are profaning it by saying that the table of the Lord is common and its offerings despicable.You also say,‘ How tiresome it is.’ You turn up your nose at it,” says the LORD who rules over all,“ and instead bring what is stolen, lame, or sick. You bring these things for an offering! Should I accept this from you?” asks the LORD.“ There will be harsh condemnation for the hypocrite who has a valuable male animal in his flock but vows and sacrifices something inferior to the Lord. For I am a great king,” says the LORD who rules over all,“ and my name is awesome among the nations.”

It was a memorial for the Israelites, that no outsider who is not a descendant of Aaron should approach to burn incense before the LORD, that he might not become like Korah and his company– just as the LORD had spoken by the authority of Moses.

No man from the descendants of Aaron the priest who has a physical flaw may step forward to present the LORD’s gifts; he has a physical flaw, so he must not step forward to present the food of his God.He may eat both the most holy and the holy food of his God,
