Neither from a stranger’s hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption[ is] in them,[ and] blemishes[ be] in them: they shall not be accepted for you.

有外邦人欲以此等之畜、獻於爾之天主為祭、毋受之、或作爾曹由外邦人得此等之畜毋以獻於爾天主為祭蓋此等之畜、體既毀傷、有殘疾、若獻之不蒙悅納、○

And you must not accept that kind of animal from someone who comes from another land. You must not offer it as food for your God. He will not accept it from you. Its body is twisted and has flaws.’ ”

Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you,[ am] holy.

They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire,[ and] the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.

Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD[ is] contemptible.And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice,[ is it] not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick,[ is it] not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king’s goods,[ even] of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which[ are] at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail:That they may offer sacrifices of sweet savours unto the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king, and of his sons.

And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever[ be] among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.One ordinance[ shall be both] for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth[ with you], an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye[ are], so shall the stranger be before the LORD.One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD[ is] polluted; and the fruit thereof,[ even] his meat,[ is] contemptible.Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness[ is it]! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought[ that which was] torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.But cursed[ be] the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I[ am] a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name[ is] dreadful among the heathen.

[ To be] a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which[ is] not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.He shall eat the bread of his God,[ both] of the most holy, and of the holy.
