要好好管理自己的家，使儿女顺服，凡事庄重。人若不知道管理自己的家，怎能照管上帝的教会呢？

若有无可指责的人，只作一个妇人的丈夫，儿女也是信主的，没有人告他们放荡，不受约束，就可以设立。

你的两个儿子何弗尼、非尼哈所遭遇的事是给你的预兆：他们二人必在同一日死亡。

要将年老的、年轻的、少女、孩童和妇女，从我的圣所开始全都杀尽，只是不可挨近凡有记号的人。”于是他们从殿前的长老杀起。

看哪，我要斥责你们的后裔，把粪抹在你们脸上，就是你们祭牲的粪。人要把你们和粪一起抬出去，

那时，耶稣在一些城行了许多异能。因为城里的人不肯悔改，他就责备那些城说：“哥拉汛哪，你有祸了！伯赛大啊，你有祸了！因为在你们中间所行的异能若行在推罗、西顿，他们早已披麻蒙灰悔改了。但我告诉你们，在审判的日子，推罗和西顿所受的，比你们还容易受呢！迦百农啊，你以为要被举到天上吗？你要被推下阴间！因为在你那里所行的异能，若行在所多玛，它还可以存留到今日。但我告诉你们，在审判的日子，所多玛地方所受的，比你们还容易受呢！”

锡安的罪人都惧怕，战兢抓住不敬虔的人。我们中间有谁能与吞噬的火同住？我们中间有谁能与不灭的火共存呢？

这些年轻人的罪在耶和华面前非常严重，因为这些人藐视耶和华的祭物。

人若娶妻，又娶妻子的母亲，这是邪恶的事；要把这三人用火焚烧，在你们中间除去这邪恶。

约书亚说：“你为什么给我们招惹灾祸呢？今日耶和华必使你遭受灾祸。”于是以色列众人用石头打死他，用火焚烧他们，把石头扔在其上。

被选的人有当灭之物在他那里，他和他所有的必被火焚烧，因为他违背了耶和华的约，又因他在以色列中做了愚妄的事。”
