They must be holy to their God and must not profane the name of their God. Because they present the food offerings to the Lord, the food of their God, they are to be holy.

Priests must be holy. They must be set apart for me. I am their God. They must not treat my name as if it were not holy. They must be holy because they bring food offerings to me. That is my food.

摩西謂亞倫曰、耶和華諭云、近我之祭司、必以我為聖、使民歸榮於我。亞倫默然。

必鑄兼金為匾、以鐫印法鐫字於上曰、為聖以事耶和華。

萬有之主耶和華、告侮慢之祭司曰、子敬父、僕敬主、我既為父、爾奚不敬、我既為主、爾奚不畏、乃爾曰、何嘗侮爾哉、爾以不潔之餅、奉於我壇、以我耶和華之兒、為可藐視、猶言曰、何嘗凌辱爾乎、

彼異邦人身心不潔、爾導之入我聖所、以玷我室、爾雖獻餅餌血膋、亦作不端、背我盟約、

祭司既享上帝、必以為聖、蓋我耶和華乃聖、使爾成聖。

我告祭司曰、爾潔己奉事耶和華、金銀器皿為人樂輸、奉事我列祖之上帝耶和華、亦視為潔。

爾曹選民、去巴比倫、勿居其中、勿捫污衊、凡攜耶和華之聖器者、當自潔其身、

萬有之主耶和華曰、自日出之所、至日入之鄉、列邦之人、將尊我名、隨在焚香、奉獻祭品、惟潔是務、我之聲名、必為列邦之人所尊焉、惟爾屢言耶和華之几、已玷厥污、其饌菲薄、則瀆我名、

我必使會幕祭壇、皭然成聖、亞倫及其子、亦成聖、任為祭司、以奉事我。
