祭司不可剃光頭髮，鬍鬚的周圍不可剃掉，也不可紋身。

“你們是耶和華你們的神的兒女，不可為了死人割傷自己的身體，也不可使你們的額上光禿；

他們不可剃頭，也不可留長頭髮，只可剪短頭髮。

不可剃兩邊的頭髮，鬍鬚的周圍也不可刮掉。不可為死人的緣故，割傷你們的身體，也不可在你們的身上刺花紋；我是耶和華。

“我必使你們歡樂的節期變為悲哀的日子，把你們的歌聲都變為哀哭。我必使你們各人腰束麻帶，頭都剃光了；我必使你們悲哀，好像喪了獨生子，自始至終都是痛苦的。

他們進入房子（“房子”或譯：“廟宇”），又往底本，上到高處去哭泣，摩押人為尼波和米底巴哀號；各人頭上都光禿，鬍鬚剃淨。

到那日，主萬軍之耶和華叫人哭泣哀號，剃光頭髮，穿上麻布。

“尊大的和卑微的都必死在這地；沒有人埋葬他們，沒有人為他們哀哭，也沒有人為他們割傷自己，剃光頭髮。

摩西對亞倫和他的兒子以利亞撒和以他瑪說：“你們不要披頭散髮，不可撕裂你們的衣服，免得你們死亡，又免得耶和華向全體會眾發怒。你們的親族，以色列全家，卻要為耶和華所燒死的人哀哭（“要為耶和華⋯⋯哀哭”或譯：“要為耶和華所燃起的焚燒哀哭”）。

他們各人的頭都剃光了，鬍鬚也剃掉了，他們割傷了自己的手，腰束麻布。

猶大啊！為你所喜愛的兒女，你要剃頭，使你的頭光禿，完全光禿如同禿鷹；因為他們都從你那裡被擄去了。
