凡有殘疾者、皆毋就近、即如瞽者、跛者、缺鼻者、四肢不齊者、

No man who has any defect may come near: no man who is blind or lame, disfigured or deformed;

No man who has any flaws can come near. No man who is blind or disabled can come. No man whose body is scarred or twisted can come.

For no one who has a blemish shall draw near, a man blind or lame, or one who has a mutilated face or a limb too long,

No one who has a defect qualifies, whether he is blind, lame, disfigured, deformed,

No man who has any defect is to come near: no man who is blind, lame, facially disfigured, or deformed;

For no one who has an impairment shall approach: a man who is blind, or one who limps, or one who has a slit nose, or one with any conspicuous feature,

都必须献毫无残疾的公牛、公绵羊或公山羊才能蒙悦纳。不可献有残疾的，因为不蒙悦纳。如果有人为了还愿或自愿献牛羊作平安祭，必须献毫无残疾的牛羊才能蒙悦纳。不可献给耶和华瞎眼的、骨折的、残废的、长疥癣的牲畜，也不可把这些牲畜献给耶和华作火祭。至于畸形或发育不全的公牛或绵羊羔，可以用作自愿献的祭，但不可用作还愿祭。不可献给耶和华睪丸受损、被压碎、破裂或被阉割的牲畜。在你们境内不可做这样的事，也不可从外族人手中接受这些牲畜并献给你们的上帝作食物。因为这些牲畜是畸形的、残疾的，不蒙悦纳。”

做监督的人必须无可指责，只有一位妻子，为人节制自律、通情达理、受人尊敬、乐于接待客旅、善于教导，不酗酒、不好斗、要温和、不争吵、不贪财，

“瞎眼的向导啊，你们有祸了！你们说，‘指着圣殿发誓，不算数；但是指着圣殿里的金子发誓，就要遵守誓言。’无知的瞎子啊！金子重要呢？还是使金子神圣的圣殿重要呢？

瞎眼的人啊！供物重要呢？还是使供物神圣的祭坛重要呢？

身为上帝的管家，做监督的必须无可指责，不傲慢，不暴躁，不酗酒，不好斗，不贪财。

做监督的在教会以外也必须有好名声，以免被人指责，陷入魔鬼的圈套。

以色列的守望者瞎眼无知，是不会叫的哑巴狗，只喜欢躺下睡觉做梦。

因为有许多悖逆之人喜欢空谈，善于欺骗，尤其是那些奉行割礼的人。
