“如果有人转向交鬼的和行法术的，随从他们行淫，我必向那人变脸，把他从他的族人中剪除。

“人偏向交鬼的和行巫术的，随他们行邪淫，我要向那人变脸，把他从民中剪除。

“人若转向招魂的和行巫术的，随从他们行淫，我就要向这人变脸，把他从百姓中剪除。

“人若转向招魂的和行巫术的，随从他们行淫，我就要向这人变脸，把他从百姓中剪除。

如果有人求问灵媒或巫师，与他们苟合，我必严惩，将他从民中铲除。

「人偏向交鬼的和行巫術的，隨他們行邪淫，我要向那人變臉，把他從民中剪除。

「人若轉向招魂的和行巫術的，隨從他們行淫，我就要向這人變臉，把他從百姓中剪除。

「人若轉向招魂的和行巫術的，隨從他們行淫，我就要向這人變臉，把他從百姓中剪除。

如果有人求問靈媒或巫師，與他們苟合，我必嚴懲，將他從民中剷除。

“如果有人轉向交鬼的和行法術的，隨從他們行淫，我必向那人變臉，把他從他的族人中剪除。

『人偏向交鬼的和行巫術的、變節去隨從他們，我要向那人板着臉，把他從他的族人中剪除掉。

凡狥欲從巫覡術士者、我必怒之、絕於民中、

憑於卜神、而為巫覡。有狥欲以從者、我必罰之、絕於民中。

凡行邪妄從交鬼之人及巫覡者、我必向斯人震怒、滅絕於民中、

“‘ I will set my face against anyone who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute themselves by following them, and I will cut them off from their people.

“‘ Suppose someone looks for advice from people who get messages from those who have died. Or they go to people who talk to the spirits of the dead. And they do what those people say. Then they have not been faithful to me. So I will turn against them. I will separate them from their people.

“ If a person turns to mediums and necromancers, whoring after them, I will set my face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.

“ I will also turn against those who commit spiritual prostitution by putting their trust in mediums or in those who consult the spirits of the dead. I will cut them off from the community.

“ Whoever turns to mediums or spiritists and prostitutes himself with them, I will turn against that person and cut him off from his people.

‘ As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists, to play the prostitute with them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.

‘ And the person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people.

And the soul that turneth unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto the wizards, to play the harlot after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

“ Whoever turns to mediums or spiritists and prostitutes himself with them, I will turn against that person and cut him off from his people.

And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

“‘ The person who turns to the spirits of the dead and familiar spirits to commit prostitution by going after them, I will set my face against that person and cut him off from the midst of his people.

“‘ The person that turns to those who are mediums and wizards, to play the prostitute after them, I will even set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people.

“你们不可转向那些交鬼的和行法术的；不可求问他们，玷污自己；我是耶和华你们的神。

“无论男女，是交鬼的或是行法术的，必要把他们处死，要用石头打死他们；他们必须承担流血的罪责。”

有人对你们说：“要求问那些交鬼的和行巫术的，就是那些喃喃细语的人。”一族之民不应当求问自己的神吗？他们怎能为活人求问死人呢？

看哪！远离你的，必定灭亡；凡是对你不贞的，你都要灭绝。

“你们不可吃带血的东西，不可占卜，不可算命。

恐怕你与那地的居民立约，他们随从自己的神行邪淫，给自己的神献祭的时候，有人叫你，你就吃他的祭物；又恐怕你给你的儿子娶他们的女儿为妻，他们的女儿随从自己的神行邪淫的时候，使你的儿子也随从她们的神行邪淫。

我的子民求问木头，由木杖引导他们，因为淫荡的灵使他们走迷了路，他们就行淫不顺从神。

这要作你们的繸子，叫你们一看见，就记得耶和华的一切命令，并且遵行；不随从自己的心意和眼目乱跑，像你们素常乱跑行淫一样，

那时，逃脱的人必在被掳去的列国中想起我怎样为了他们而伤痛，因为他们动了淫乱的心离弃我，他们邪淫的眼恋慕偶像；那时他们必为了自己所行的恶事和他们一切可憎的事厌恶自己。

在你中间不可有人把自己的儿女献作火祭（“把自己的儿女献作火祭”直译是“使自己的儿女经过进入火中”），也不可有占卜的、算命的、用法术的、行邪术的、念咒的、问鬼的、行巫术的、过阴的。因为行这些事的，都是耶和华厌恶的；就是因为这些可厌可恶的事的缘故，耶和华你的神才把他们从你的面前赶走。你要在耶和华你的神面前作完全人。“因为你要赶走的那些民族，都听从算命的和占卜的；至于你，耶和华你的神却不容许你这样行。

扫罗死了，因为他悖逆耶和华，没有听从他的话，也因为他去求问那交鬼的，没有求问耶和华，所以耶和华把他杀死了，把国位转给耶西的儿子大卫。
