“‘ When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest.

“‘ Suppose you are harvesting your crops. Then do not harvest all the way to the edges of your field. And do not pick up the grain you missed.

“ When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, neither shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest.

“ When you harvest the crops of your land, do not harvest the grain along the edges of your fields, and do not pick up what the harvesters drop.

她再起來去撿麥穗的時候，波阿斯吩咐僕人說：“就算她在禾捆堆中撿麥穗，也不可以辱罵她。

摩押女子路得對拿俄米說：“讓我到田裡去，我在誰的眼前蒙恩，我就跟在誰的背後撿麥穗。”拿俄米說：“女兒啊，你儘管去。”

“你在田間收割莊稼的時候，如果遺留一捆在田裡，就不可再回去拾取，要留給寄居的、孤兒和寡婦；好使耶和華你的神，在你手裡所辦的一切事上，賜福給你。你打橄欖樹以後，枝上剩下的不可再打，要留給寄居的、孤兒和寡婦。你收取葡萄園的葡萄以後，剩下的不可再摘，要留給寄居的、孤兒和寡婦。你要記住你在埃及作過奴僕，所以我吩咐你遵行這話。”

“你要告訴以色列人，對他們說：你們到了我賜給你們的地，收割莊稼的時候，要把初熟莊稼的一捆帶到祭司那裡。

在這一天，不刻苦己心的人，必從他的族人中被剪除。
