不要斥責年長的，要像對待父親一樣勸他們；對待青年男子要情同手足；

力量是青年的榮耀，白髮是老人的尊榮。

白髮是榮耀的冠冕，行為公義方能得到。

首領雙手被吊起來，老人得不到尊敬。

就說：「我年紀輕，你們是長輩，所以我畏懼，不敢陳明觀點。

由於不及他們年長，以利戶便等他們說完才向約伯發言。
