‘ Do not prostitute your daughter, to cause her to be a harlot, lest the land fall into harlotry, and the land become full of wickedness.

“‘ Do not degrade your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will turn to prostitution and be filled with wickedness.

“‘ Do not dishonor your daughter’s body by making a prostitute out of her. If you do, the Israelites will start going to prostitutes. The land will be filled with evil.

“ Do not profane your daughter by making her a prostitute, lest the land fall into prostitution and the land become full of depravity.

“ Do not debase your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will be prostituted and filled with depravity.

For the spirit of harlotry has caused them to stray, And they have played the harlot against their God.They offer sacrifices on the mountaintops, And burn incense on the hills, Under oaks, poplars, and terebinths, Because their shade is good. Therefore your daughters commit harlotry, And your brides commit adultery.“ I will not punish your daughters when they commit harlotry, Nor your brides when they commit adultery; For the men themselves go apart with harlots, And offer sacrifices with a ritual harlot. Therefore people who do not understand will be trampled.

They shall not take a wife who is a harlot or a defiled woman, nor shall they take a woman divorced from her husband; for the priest is holy to his God.

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!
