“‘ Do not degrade your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will turn to prostitution and be filled with wickedness.

“‘ Do not dishonor your daughter’s body by making a prostitute out of her. If you do, the Israelites will start going to prostitutes. The land will be filled with evil.

“以色列的女子中不可有廟妓，以色列的男子中不可有男廟妓。妓女所得的酬金，或男妓所得的代價，你不可帶入耶和華你的神的殿裡還任何的願，因為這兩樣都是耶和華你的神厭惡的。

我的子民求問木頭，由木杖引導他們，因為淫蕩的靈使他們走迷了路，他們就行淫不順從神。他們在山頂上獻祭，在岡陵上的橡樹、楊樹和栗樹之下獻祭燒香，因為樹蔭美好。所以你們的女兒行淫亂，你們的兒媳犯姦淫。我卻不因你們的女兒行淫亂，也不因你們的兒媳犯姦淫而懲罰她們，因為你們男人自己離群與娼妓在一起，又與廟妓一同獻祭。這無知的人民必遭毀滅。

祭司不可娶被玷辱了的妓女為妻，也不可娶被丈夫離棄的女人為妻；因為祭司是歸他的神為聖的。

你們不知道你們的身體就是基督的肢體嗎？這樣，我們可以把基督的肢體當作娼妓的肢體嗎？當然不可以！
