“ You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind. You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor shall you wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material.

“ You must obey all my decrees.“ Do not mate two different kinds of animals. Do not plant your field with two different kinds of seed. Do not wear clothing woven from two different kinds of thread.

“ You are to keep my statutes. Do not crossbreed two different kinds of your livestock, sow your fields with two kinds of seed, or put on a garment made of two kinds of material.

没有人把新布补在旧衣服上；因为所补上的会撕破那衣服，裂口就更大了。也没有人把新酒装在旧皮袋里，若是这样，皮袋会胀破，酒就漏出来，皮袋也糟蹋了。相反地，把新酒装在新皮袋里，两样就都保全了。”

押沙龙刚好遇见了大卫的臣仆。押沙龙骑着骡子，从大橡树密枝底下经过，他的头被橡树夹住，悬挂在空中，所骑的骡子就离他去了。

押沙龙的仆人就照押沙龙所吩咐的，向暗嫩行了。王所有的儿子都起来，各人骑上骡子逃跑了。

可见，那有信心的人和有信心的亚伯拉罕一同得福。凡出于律法的行为都是受诅咒的，因为经上记着：“凡不持守律法书上所记的一切而去行的，都是受诅咒的。”没有一个人靠着律法在上帝面前称义，这是明显的，因为经上说：“义人必因信得生。”
