“‘ Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

“‘ Do not try to get even. Do not hold anything against any of your people. Instead, love your neighbor as you love yourself. I am the Lord.

You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

“ Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against a fellow Israelite, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

“‘ You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh.

这是因为，那“不可通奸，不可杀人，不可偷窃，不可贪心”的诫命，或是别的什么诫命，都包含在“要爱邻如己”这一句话里了。

因为全部律法都在“要爱邻如己”这一句话里得以满足了。

不过，你们如果照着经上那条至尊的律法“要爱邻如己”完全实行，你们就做得很好了。

其次的也和它类似，‘要爱邻如己。’全部律法和先知书都是以这两条诫命为依据的。”

“其次就是‘要爱邻如己。’没有别的诫命比这两条更大的了。”那经文士就对耶稣说：“不错，老师，你真的讲了：神只有一位，除他以外没有别的神。以全心、全智、全力来爱神，并且要爱邻如己，这是比所有的燔祭和各种祭祀都重要的。”耶稣见他回答得有智慧，就对他说：“你离神的国不远了。”于是，没有人敢再质问耶稣了。

他回答说：“你要以全心、全灵、全力、全意爱主——你的神，并且要爱邻如己。”耶稣说：“你回答得对。你这样去做，就将活着。”那个人却要显示自己为义，就对耶稣说：“那么，谁是我的邻人呢？”耶稣回答说：“有一个人从耶路撒冷下到耶利哥去，途中遇到强盗。他们剥去他的衣服，把他打得半死，丢下他走了。恰好有一个祭司从那条路下来，看见他，就从另一边走了过去。有一个利未人也正好来到那地方，看见他，也同样地从另一边走了过去。可是，有一个撒马利亚人行路来到他那里，看见他，就动了怜悯之心，上前来，在他的伤处倒上油和酒，包扎好，然后把他扶上自己的牲口，带到旅店里照顾他。第二天，他拿出两个银币交给店家，说‘请你照顾他，一切额外的费用，我回来的时候将还给你。’“你认为，这三个人中，哪一个是落在强盗手中那人的邻人呢？”律法师说：“是那个怜悯他的人。”耶稣对他说：“你去如此做吧。”

要孝敬父母、要爱邻如己。”

各位蒙爱的人哪，不要自己报复，宁可给神的震怒留地步，因为经上记着：“主说：报应在我，我将回报。”

“你们听过这吩咐：‘要爱你的邻人，恨你的敌人。’但是我告诉你们：要爱你们的敌人，为那些逼迫你们的人祷告，

看哪，有一个人上前来对耶稣说：“老师，我该做什么良善的事，才能得到永恒的生命呢？”

要知道，他是神的仆役，对你是有益处的。但你如果作恶，就该惧怕，因为他不是毫无理由的佩带刀剑。他是神的仆役，是报应者，使震怒临到作恶的人。

不要对任何人以恶报恶；要敬重所有的人看为美善的事；

你不可说：“我要以恶报恶”；你当等候耶和华，他必拯救你。

你们要除掉一切苦毒、暴怒、愤怒、喧嚷、毁谤，以及一切的恶毒；

但如今，你们也要脱去一切暴怒、愤恨、恶毒、毁谤，以及从你们口中所出的污秽的话；

因为我们认识曾说过“报应在我，我将回报”的那一位，他又说过“主要审判自己的子民。”

拜偶像、行邪术、仇恨、纷争、嫉恨、暴怒、争竞、分裂、结派、

所以，你们要脱去一切恶毒、一切诡诈、伪善、嫉妒，以及一切的诽谤，

他不长久责备，也不永远怀怒。
