Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.’”

Do exactly what I require. When you arrive in Canaan, do not follow any of the practices of its people. I hate the things they do. Do not make yourselves“ unclean” by doing them. I am the Lord your God.’ ”

So keep my charge never to practice any of these abominable customs that were practiced before you, and never to make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.”

So obey my instructions, and do not defile yourselves by committing any of these detestable practices that were committed by the people who lived in the land before you. I am the Lord your God.”

‘ Therefore you shall keep My ordinance, so that you do not commit any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you do not defile yourselves by them: I am the Lord your God.’”

Therefore shall ye keep my charge, that ye practise not any of these abominable customs, which were practised before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am Jehovah your God.

我從你們面前逐出的各民族，你們不可隨從他們的風俗；因為他們行了這一切事，所以我厭惡他們。

他們要謹守我的命令，免得他們因褻瀆，擔罪而死；我是使他們分別為聖的耶和華。

所以，你們要謹守我的律例和典章；這一切可憎的事，無論是本地人或是在你們中間寄居的外人，一件都不可作（因為在你們以前住在那地的人，行了這一切可憎的事，就玷污了自己）；

“你到了耶和華你的神要賜給你的那地的時候，那些外族人可厭可惡的事，你不可學習去行。在你中間不可有人把自己的兒女獻作火祭（“把自己的兒女獻作火祭”直譯是“使自己的兒女經過進入火中”），也不可有占卜的、算命的、用法術的、行邪術的、念咒的、問鬼的、行巫術的、過陰的。因為行這些事的，都是耶和華厭惡的；就是因為這些可厭可惡的事的緣故，耶和華你的神才把他們從你的面前趕走。

“你要告訴以色列人，對他們說：我是耶和華你們的神。你們從前住過的埃及地，那裡的居民的行為，你們不可隨從；我要領你們到的迦南地，那裡的居民的行為，你們也不可仿效。你們不可跟隨他們的風俗行。你們要遵行我的典章，謹守我的律例，要遵照奉行；我是耶和華你們的神。

“所以你要愛耶和華你的神，常常遵守他的吩咐、律例、典章和誡命。
