Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.’”

Do exactly what I require. When you arrive in Canaan, do not follow any of the practices of its people. I hate the things they do. Do not make yourselves“ unclean” by doing them. I am the Lord your God.’ ”

So keep my charge never to practice any of these abominable customs that were practiced before you, and never to make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.”

So obey my instructions, and do not defile yourselves by committing any of these detestable practices that were committed by the people who lived in the land before you. I am the Lord your God.”

So you are to keep your commitment to Me not to practice any of the abominable customs which have been practiced before you, so that you do not defile yourselves with them; I am the Lord your God.’ ”

‘ Therefore you shall keep My ordinance, so that you do not commit any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you do not defile yourselves by them: I am the Lord your God.’”

Therefore shall ye keep my charge, that ye practise not any of these abominable customs, which were practised before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am Jehovah your God.

我从你们面前逐出的各民族，你们不可随从他们的风俗；因为他们行了这一切事，所以我厌恶他们。

他们要谨守我的命令，免得他们因亵渎，担罪而死；我是使他们分别为圣的耶和华。

所以，你们要谨守我的律例和典章；这一切可憎的事，无论是本地人或是在你们中间寄居的外人，一件都不可作（因为在你们以前住在那地的人，行了这一切可憎的事，就玷污了自己）；

“你到了耶和华你的神要赐给你的那地的时候，那些外族人可厌可恶的事，你不可学习去行。在你中间不可有人把自己的儿女献作火祭（“把自己的儿女献作火祭”直译是“使自己的儿女经过进入火中”），也不可有占卜的、算命的、用法术的、行邪术的、念咒的、问鬼的、行巫术的、过阴的。因为行这些事的，都是耶和华厌恶的；就是因为这些可厌可恶的事的缘故，耶和华你的神才把他们从你的面前赶走。

“你要告诉以色列人，对他们说：我是耶和华你们的神。你们从前住过的埃及地，那里的居民的行为，你们不可随从；我要领你们到的迦南地，那里的居民的行为，你们也不可仿效。你们不可跟随他们的风俗行。你们要遵行我的典章，谨守我的律例，要遵照奉行；我是耶和华你们的神。

“所以你要爱耶和华你的神，常常遵守他的吩咐、律例、典章和诫命。
