Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.’”

Do exactly what I require. When you arrive in Canaan, do not follow any of the practices of its people. I hate the things they do. Do not make yourselves“ unclean” by doing them. I am the Lord your God.’ ”

So keep my charge never to practice any of these abominable customs that were practiced before you, and never to make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.”

So obey my instructions, and do not defile yourselves by committing any of these detestable practices that were committed by the people who lived in the land before you. I am the Lord your God.”

我要在你们面前赶走那片土地上的各族，你们不要随从他们的习俗。他们做了以上那些事，所以我厌恶他们。

他们要遵守我的命令，免得他们犯罪，因违背我的命令而死亡。我是使他们圣洁的耶和华。

你们必须遵守我的律例和典章。不论你们还是寄居在你们中间的外族人，都不可做这些可憎之事。因为在你们之前居住在那里的人做了这些可憎之事，玷污了那片土地。

“你们进入你们的上帝耶和华将要赐给你们的土地后，不可仿效当地民族的可憎行径。你们当中不可有人焚烧自己的子女作祭物，不可有人占卜、算命、作法、行邪术、念咒、做灵媒、行巫术或求问亡灵。凡做这些事的人都是耶和华所憎恶的。正是因为当地的民族做这些可憎之事，你们的上帝耶和华才要当着你们的面把他们赶走。

“你把以下条例告诉以色列人。“我是你们的上帝耶和华。你们曾经住在埃及，但不可效法埃及人的行为。我要把你们带到迦南，但你们不可效法迦南人的行为，不可随从他们的风俗。你们必须遵行我的典章，持守我的律例。我是你们的上帝耶和华。

“你们要爱你们的上帝耶和华，时刻遵守祂的吩咐、律例、典章和诫命。
