「你們要遵行我的一切律例和典章，免得我要帶你們去的那片土地把你們吐出去。

「人子啊，當以色列人住在本土時，他們的惡行玷污了那裡，他們的行為在我眼中就像經期的婦女一樣污穢。

主耶和華說，『雖然人們說你們吞吃以色列人、奪走他們的兒女。

他們居住的土地也都被玷污了，所以我因他們的罪惡而懲罰那片土地，我要使那片土地吐出他們。

我們知道一切受造之物至今都在呻吟，如同經歷分娩之痛。

因為從錫安傳出哀鳴，『我們滅亡了！我們受了奇恥大辱！我們的家園被毀，我們只好背井離鄉。』」
