Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out from before you;

異邦人行此、自取污衊、故我逐之、爾勿則效、

爾毋行此沾污己身、我於爾前所將逐之諸族皆行之、自取沾污、

“‘ Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled.

“‘ Do not make yourselves“ unclean” in any of these ways. That is how other nations became“ unclean.” So I am going to drive those nations out of the land to make room for you.

“ Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, for by all these the nations I am driving out before you have become unclean,

“ Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, for the people I am driving out before you have defiled themselves in all these ways.

“ Do not defile yourselves by any of these practices, for the nations I am driving out before you have defiled themselves by all these things.

‘ Do not defile yourselves by any of these things; for by all these things the nations which I am driving out from you have become defiled.

‘ Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you.

“ Do not defile yourselves by any of these practices, for the nations I am driving out before you have defiled themselves by all these things.

Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

“‘ Do not defile yourselves with any of these things, for the nations which I am about to drive out before you have been defiled with all these things.

“‘ Don’t defile yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations which I am casting out before you were defiled.

For whosoever doeth these things is an abomination unto Jehovah: and because of these abominations Jehovah thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Therefore shall ye keep my charge, that ye practise not any of these abominable customs, which were practised before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am Jehovah your God.

Thou shalt not do so unto Jehovah thy God: for every abomination to Jehovah, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters do they burn in the fire to their gods.

But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart; and they defile the man.For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings:these are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not the man.

If any man destroyeth the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are ye.

None of you shall approach to any that are near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am Jehovah.The nakedness of thy father, even the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover; it is thy father’s nakedness.The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister: she is thy father’s near kinswoman.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister: for she is thy mother’s near kinswoman.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter- in- law: she is thy son’s wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife: it is thy brother’s nakedness.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter; thou shalt not take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; they are near kinswomen: it is wickedness.And thou shalt not take a wife to her sister, to be a rival to her, to uncover her nakedness, besides the other in her life- time.And thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.And thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor’s wife, to defile thyself with her.And thou shalt not give any of thy seed to make them pass through the fire to Molech; neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am Jehovah.Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.And thou shalt not lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith; neither shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

For Moses said, Honor thy father and thy mother; and, He that speaketh evil of father or mother, let him die the death:but ye say, If a man shall say to his father or his mother, That wherewith thou mightest have been profited by me is Corban, that is to say, Given to God;ye no longer suffer him to do aught for his father or his mother;making void the word of God by your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things ye do.And he called to him the multitude again, and said unto them, Hear me all of you, and understand:there is nothing from without the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.
