And you shall not let any of your descendants pass through the fire to Molech, nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.

勿使爾子女經火、以奉摩洛、勿瀆爾上帝之名、我乃耶和華也、

勿焚爾子女、以享摩洛、瀆爾上帝之名、為我耶和華所禁。

毋以子女焚獻摩洛、毋瀆爾天主之名、我乃主、

“‘ Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molek, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the Lord.

“‘ Do not hand over any of your children to be sacrificed to the god Molek. That would be treating my name as if it were not holy. I am the Lord your God.

You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.

“ Do not permit any of your children to be offered as a sacrifice to Molech, for you must not bring shame on the name of your God. I am the Lord.

“ You are not to sacrifice any of your children in the fire to Molech. Do not profane the name of your God; I am the LORD.

You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, nor shall you profane the name of your God; I am the Lord.

And thou shalt not give any of thy seed to make them pass through the fire to Molech; neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am Jehovah.

“ You are not to make any of your children pass through the fire to Molech. Do not profane the name of your God; I am Yahweh.

And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through[ the fire] to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I[ am] the LORD.

You must not give any of your children as an offering to Molech, so that you do not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD!

“‘ You shall not give any of your children as a sacrifice to Molech. You shall not profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.

“ Again, you shall say to the children of Israel:‘ Whoever of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell in Israel, who gives any of his descendants to Molech, he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones.I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given some of his descendants to Molech, to defile My sanctuary and profane My holy name.And if the people of the land should in any way hide their eyes from the man, when he gives some of his descendants to Molech, and they do not kill him,then I will set My face against that man and against his family; and I will cut him off from his people, and all who prostitute themselves with him to commit harlotry with Molech.

And you shall not swear by My name falsely, nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.

You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.

There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,

You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel. I am the Lord who sanctifies you,

They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God, for they offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.

“ But you profane it, In that you say,‘ The table of the Lord is defiled; And its fruit, its food, is contemptible.’

because they have forsaken Me, and worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the people of Ammon, and have not walked in My ways to do what is right in My eyes and keep My statutes and My judgments, as did his father David.

You also took up the tabernacle of Moloch, And the star of your god Remphan, Images which you made to worship; And I will carry you away beyond Babylon.’

“ Speak to Aaron and his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they do not profane My holy name by what they dedicate to Me: I am the Lord.

Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the people of Ammon.

You also carried Sikkuth your king And Chiun, your idols, The star of your gods, Which you made for yourselves.

( they have also built the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings to Baal, which I did not command or speak, nor did it come into My mind),

And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into My heart.

Also he made his son pass through the fire, practiced soothsaying, used witchcraft, and consulted spiritists and mediums. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.

and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man— and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

For“ the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” as it is written.

They even sacrificed their sons And their daughters to demons,And shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and daughters, Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was polluted with blood.

When they came to the nations, wherever they went, they profaned My holy name— when they said of them,‘ These are the people of the Lord, and yet they have gone out of His land.’But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations wherever they went.“ Therefore say to the house of Israel,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went.And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord GOD,“ when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.

And he defiled Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter pass through the fire to Molech.

For they have committed adultery, and blood is on their hands. They have committed adultery with their idols, and even sacrificed their sons whom they bore to Me, passing them through the fire, to devour them.

For when you offer your gifts and make your sons pass through the fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols, even to this day. So shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live,” says the Lord GOD,“ I will not be inquired of by you.

But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel; indeed he made his son pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the nations whom the Lord had cast out from before the children of Israel.
