“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them,‘ I am Yahweh your God.

I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. (niv)

I am the Lord your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves along the ground. (niv)

“‘ Each of you must respect your mother and father, and you must observe my Sabbaths. I am the Lord your God.“‘ Do not turn to idols or make metal gods for yourselves. I am the Lord your God. (niv)

Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am the Lord your God. (niv)

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance. (niv)

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native- born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God. (niv)
