Therefore I say to the Israelites,“ None of you may eat blood, nor may any foreigner residing among you eat blood.”

故我諭以色列人云、爾中諸人、不可食血、寄居爾中之外邦客旅、亦不可食血、

So I say to the Israelites,“ You must not eat meat that still has blood in it. And an outsider who lives among you must not eat it either.”

Therefore I have said to the people of Israel, No person among you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger who sojourns among you eat blood.

That is why I have said to the people of Israel,‘ You must never eat or drink blood— neither you nor the foreigners living among you.’

Therefore I say to the Israelites: None of you and no alien who resides among you may eat blood.

Therefore I said to the sons of Israel,‘ No person among you may eat blood, nor may any stranger who resides among you eat blood.’

Therefore I said to the children of Israel,‘ No one among you shall eat blood, nor shall any stranger who dwells among you eat blood.’

Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

Therefore I say to the Israelites: None of you and no foreigner who lives among you may eat blood.

The same law applies both to the native- born and to the foreigner residing among you.”
