所以，弟兄们，既然我们靠着耶稣的血得以坦然进入至圣所，是藉着他给我们开了一条又新又活的路，从幔子经过，这幔子就是他的身体。既然我们有一位伟大祭司治理神的家，那么，我们该用诚心和充足的信心，同已蒙洁净、无亏的良心，和清水洗净了的身体来亲近神。

这些事只不过是有关饮食和各种洁净的规矩，是属肉体的条例，它的功效是直到新次序的时期来到为止。

要带亚伦和他儿子到会幕的门口，用水洗他们。要拿服装，给亚伦穿上内袍和以弗得的外袍，以及以弗得，又带上胸袋，束上以弗得精致的带子。

所要做的是胸袋、以弗得、外袍、织成的内袍、礼冠和腰带。他们要为你哥哥亚伦和他的儿子做圣衣，使他们作祭司事奉我。要用金色、蓝色、紫色、朱红色纱，和细麻去缝制。”“他们要用金色、蓝色、紫色、朱红色纱，和搓的细麻，以刺绣的手艺做以弗得。以弗得当有两条肩带，接上两端，使它相连。以弗得的精致带子，要以一样的手艺，用金色、蓝色、紫色、朱红色纱，和搓的细麻缝制，与以弗得接连在一起。要取两块红玛瑙，在上面刻以色列儿子的名字：六个名字在一块宝石上，六个名字在另一块宝石上，都按照他们出生的次序。要以雕刻宝石的手艺，如同刻印章，把以色列儿子的名字刻在这两块宝石上，并把宝石镶在金槽里。要把这两块宝石安在以弗得的两条肩带上，为以色列人作纪念石。亚伦要在耶和华面前把他们的名字带在两肩上，作为纪念。要用金子做两个槽，再用纯金打两条链子，像编成的绳子一样，把这编成的金链扣在槽上。”

摸了这些的人必不洁净到晚上；若不用水洗身，就不可吃圣物。

摩西领了亚伦和他儿子前来，用水洗他们。他给亚伦穿上内袍，束上腰带，套上外袍，加上以弗得，再束上精致的带子，把以弗得系在他身上。他又给亚伦戴上胸袋，把乌陵和土明放在胸袋内。他把礼冠戴在亚伦的头上，礼冠前面安上金牌，成为圣冕，是照耶和华所吩咐摩西的。

到了第七天，他要剃所有的毛发，头发、胡须、眼睛的眉毛，他全身的毛都剃了；然后，他要洗衣服，用水洗身，才洁净了。
