He shall bathe himself with water in the sanctuary area and put on his regular garments. Then he shall come out and sacrifice the burnt offering for himself and the burnt offering for the people, to make atonement for himself and for the people.

He must take a bath in the holy area. And he must put on his regular clothes. Then he will come out and sacrifice the burnt offering for himself. He will also sacrifice the burnt offering for the people. That will pay for his own sin and the people’s sin.

所以弟兄們，我們既有坦然無懼的心，靠着耶穌的血而進入聖所，由他給我們開創的一條路、嶄新而活的路、通過幔子、就是通過他的肉身；我們又既有一位尊大的祭司治理上帝的家，我們就可以用真心、本着堅確的信心、進前去朝拜，心被血灑過、除去邪惡的意識，身體也用清水洗淨過。

只是關於飲食和幾樣不同的洗濯、不過是屬肉身的律例、制定着到改正時期為止罷了。

要把亞倫和他兒子們帶到會棚出入處，用水給他們洗。要拿衣服、將內袍、聖裲襠之下的外袍、聖裲襠和胸牌、給亞倫穿戴上，又將聖裲襠上巧設圖案織成的帶子給他束上。

以下這些就是他們所要作的衣服：胸牌、聖裲襠、外袍、間格編製的內袍、禮冠、長腰帶：他們要給你哥哥亞倫和他子孫作聖衣，使他們可以作祭司來事奉我。『他們要拿金線、藍紫色紫紅色朱紅色線和麻絲來作。要將金線、藍紫色紫紅色朱紅色線和撚的麻絲、用巧設圖案的作法來作聖裲襠。聖裲襠要有兩條肩帶、兩頭連接，讓它相連接。大祭司那巧設圖案製成的聖裲襠的帶子、就是在聖裲襠上頭的、要用一樣的作法，並且和它連在一塊；是金線、藍紫色紫紅色朱紅色線和撚的麻絲作的。你要取兩塊條紋瑪瑙，上面刻着以色列兒子的名字。六個名字在一塊寶石上，其餘六個名字在另一塊寶石上，照他們出生的次序。你要用鐫刻寶石者的手工刻印章、將以色列兒子的名字、刻這兩塊寶石，用工夫使它們嵌在金槽裏。要將這兩塊寶石安在聖裲襠的肩帶上、做記石、把以色列子孫記住；亞倫要在他的兩肩上擔他們的名字、在永恆主面前讓他紀念着。你要作兩個金槽，和兩條淨金的鍊子、像繩子，用絞的作法作它，把絞成的鍊子搭在槽上。

人觸着這些東西或人、總會不潔淨到晚上；他若不在水中洗身，就不可喫聖物。

又從耶穌基督、那忠信的捨生作證者、死人中活起來的首生者、地上諸王的元首、得恩惠平安。他愛我們，用他的血解放了我們脫離我們的罪；又使我們成國為祭司、可親近他的父上帝。願榮耀權能歸於他、世世無窮！阿們。

摩西把亞倫和他兒子們帶來，用水給他們洗，給亞倫穿上內袍，給他束上長腰帶，穿上外袍，又加上聖裲襠，用巧設圖案織成的聖裲襠帶子束上，將聖裲襠繫在他身上。又給他戴上胸牌，將烏陵土明放在胸牌裏，把禮冠戴在他頭上；在禮冠上頭、前面、釘上金牌、就是聖冠：照永恆主所吩咐摩西的。

第七天、他要把一切毛髮都剃去，把頭髮、鬍鬚和眉毛以及所有的毛都剃去；也要把衣服洗淨，在水中洗身，就潔淨了。
