The LORD said to Moses,“ Tell your brother Aaron that he may not come whenever he wants into the holy place behind the curtain in front of the mercy seat on the ark or else he will die, because I appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.

耶和华对摩西说：“告诉你哥哥亚伦，他不可随意进入幔子里面的至圣所，走到约柜上的施恩座前，免得死亡，因为我要在施恩座之上的云彩中显现。

“你要告诉你的哥哥亚伦，不可随时进入圣所的幔子里面，到约柜上的施恩座，免得他死亡，因为我在施恩座上的彩云中显现。

「要告訴你哥哥亞倫，不可隨時進聖所的幔子內、到櫃上的施恩座前，免得他死亡，因為我要從雲中顯現在施恩座上。

耶和華對摩西說：「你要吩咐你哥哥亞倫，不可隨時進入聖所的幔子內、到櫃蓋前，免得他死亡，因為我在櫃蓋上的雲中顯現。

耶和華對摩西說：「你要吩咐你哥哥亞倫，不可隨時進入聖所的幔子內、到櫃蓋前，免得他死亡，因為我在櫃蓋上的雲中顯現。

耶和華對摩西說：「告訴你哥哥亞倫，他不可隨意進入幔子裡面的至聖所，走到約櫃上的施恩座前，免得死亡，因為我要在施恩座之上的雲彩中顯現。

“你要告訴你的哥哥亞倫，不可隨時進入聖所的幔子裡面，到約櫃上的施恩座，免得他死亡，因為我在施恩座上的彩雲中顯現。

說：『要告訴你哥哥亞倫不可隨時進至聖所帷帳以內、到櫃上的除罪蓋前，免得死亡，因為我要在雲中顯現於除罪蓋上。

厥後耶和華諭摩西曰、告爾兄亞倫云、聖所㡘內、法匱施恩座前、毋頻入之、免其死亡、緣我必乘雲見於施恩座上、

厥後耶和華諭摩西曰、聖室簾中、法匱施恩所前、我必乘雲、顯現於此、可告爾兄亞倫、毋頻入其地、免致死亡、

厥後、主諭摩西曰、告爾兄亞倫毋隨時入聖所幔內至蓋法匱之贖罪蓋前、恐其死亡、因我必在雲中顯現於贖罪蓋上、

The Lord said to Moses:“ Tell your brother Aaron that he is not to come whenever he chooses into the Most Holy Place behind the curtain in front of the atonement cover on the ark, or else he will die. For I will appear in the cloud over the atonement cover.

The Lord said to Moses,“ Speak to your brother Aaron. Tell him not to come into the Most Holy Room just anytime he wants to. Tell him not to come behind the curtain in front of the cover of the ark. The cover is the place where sin is paid for. If he comes behind the curtain, he will die. That is because I appear in the cloud over the cover.

and the Lord said to Moses,“ Tell Aaron your brother not to come at any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat that is on the ark, so that he may not die. For I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat.

The Lord said to Moses,“ Warn your brother, Aaron, not to enter the Most Holy Place behind the inner curtain whenever he chooses; if he does, he will die. For the Ark’s cover— the place of atonement— is there, and I myself am present in the cloud above the atonement cover.

The Lord said to Moses:“ Tell your brother Aaron that he shall not enter at any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the atoning cover which is on the ark, or he will die; for I will appear in the cloud over the atoning cover.

and the Lord said to Moses:“ Tell Aaron your brother not to come at just any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.

and Jehovah said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the veil, before the mercy- seat which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy- seat.

The Lord said to Moses:“ Tell your brother Aaron that he may not come whenever he wants into the holy place behind the veil in front of the mercy seat on the ark or else he will die, because I appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy[ place] within the vail before the mercy seat, which[ is] upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

and the LORD said to Moses:“ Tell Aaron your brother that he must not enter at any time into the holy place inside the veil-canopy in front of the atonement plate that is on the ark so that he may not die, for I will appear in the cloud over the atonement plate.

and Yahweh said to Moses,“ Tell Aaron your brother not to come at just any time into the Most Holy Place within the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark; lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud on the mercy seat.

“ Once a year Aaron is to perform the atonement ceremony for the altar. Throughout your generations he is to perform the atonement ceremony for it once a year, with the blood of the sin offering for atonement on the horns. The altar is especially holy to the LORD.”

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have boldness to enter the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus—he has inaugurated for us a new and living way through the curtain( that is, through his flesh)—

When the priests came out of the holy place, the cloud filled the LORD’s temple,and because of the cloud, the priests were not able to continue ministering, for the glory of the LORD filled the temple.Then Solomon said: The LORD said that he would dwell in total darkness.

He did not do this to offer himself many times, as the high priest enters the sanctuary yearly with the blood of another.

And because of the cloud, the priests were not able to continue ministering, for the glory of the LORD filled God’s temple.

The cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.Moses was unable to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud rested on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

But the high priest alone enters the second room, and he does that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.The Holy Spirit was making it clear that the way into the most holy place had not yet been disclosed while the first tabernacle was still standing.

Make a mercy seat of pure gold, forty-five inches long and twenty-seven inches wide.Make two cherubim of gold; make them of hammered work at the two ends of the mercy seat.Make one cherub at one end and one cherub at the other end. At its two ends, make the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat.The cherubim are to have wings spread out above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and are to face one another. The faces of the cherubim should be toward the mercy seat.Set the mercy seat on top of the ark and put the tablets of the testimony that I will give you into the ark.I will meet with you there above the mercy seat, between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the testimony; I will speak with you from there about all that I command you regarding the Israelites.

Behind the second curtain was a tent called the most holy place.

He is to put the incense on the fire before the LORD, so that the cloud of incense covers the mercy seat that is over the testimony, or else he will die.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens— Jesus the Son of God— let us hold fast to our confession.For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin.Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need.

Hang the curtain under the clasps and bring the ark of the testimony there behind the curtain, so the curtain will make a separation for you between the holy place and the most holy place.Put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.

The priests brought the ark of the LORD’s covenant to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the most holy place beneath the wings of the cherubim.

“ The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. You are to hold a sacred assembly and practice self-denial; you are to present a food offering to the LORD.

Moses took the testimony and placed it in the ark, and attached the poles to the ark. He set the mercy seat on top of the ark.He brought the ark into the tabernacle, put up the curtain for the screen, and screened off the ark of the testimony, just as the LORD had commanded him.

You must remain at the entrance to the tent of meeting day and night for seven days and keep the LORD’s charge so that you will not die, for this is what I was commanded.”

The LORD told Moses,“ Put Aaron’s staff back in front of the testimony to be kept as a sign for the rebels, so that you may put an end to their complaints before me, or else they will die.”

Do this for them so that they may live and not die when they come near the most holy objects: Aaron and his sons are to go in and assign each man his task and transportation duty.

Suddenly, the curtain of the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth quaked, and the rocks were split.
