So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and consecrated the people, and they washed their garments.

But the Lord said to Moses,“ If her father had only spit in her face, would she not be put to shame for seven days? Have her shut outside the camp for seven days, and afterward she may be received again.”So Miriam was shut outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on until Miriam was received again.

And you shall not go outside the doorway of the tent of meeting for seven days, until the day that the period of your ordination is fulfilled; for he will ordain you through seven days.The Lord has commanded us to do as has been done this day, to make atonement on your behalf.At the doorway of the tent of meeting, moreover, you shall remain day and night for seven days and fulfill your duty to the Lord, so that you will not die; for so I have been commanded.”

The Lord also said to Moses,“ Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and have them wash their garments;

Then the priest shall look at him on the seventh day, and if in his eyes the infection has not changed and the infection has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall isolate him for seven more days.The priest shall then look at him again on the seventh day, and if the infected area has faded and the infection has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is only a rash. And he shall wash his clothes and be clean.
