又從那信實的見證人、死人中首先復生的、地上眾君王的統治者耶穌基督臨到你們。他愛我們，用自己的血把我們從我們的罪中釋放出來，又使我們成為國度，作他父神的祭司。願榮耀權能都歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們。

祭司要把燔祭和素祭獻在祭壇上，為他贖罪，他就潔淨了。

這水預表的洗禮，現在也拯救你們：不是除去肉體的污穢，而是藉著耶穌基督的復活，向神許願常存純潔的良心。

我對他說：“我主啊，你是知道的。”他告訴我：“這些人是從大患難中出來的。他們用羊羔的血，把自己的衣袍洗潔白了。

耶和華對摩西說：“你到人民那裡去，要他們今天明天分別為聖，又要他們洗淨自己的衣服；

到了第七天，祭司要察看他，如果看見病情止住了，皮上的患處沒有蔓延，祭司還要把他再隔離七天。到了第七天，祭司要再察看他；如果看見患處色澤變淡，也沒有在皮上蔓延，祭司就要宣布他為潔淨，這不過是癬；他洗淨衣服，就得潔淨了。
