可是有一件事我要责备你，就是你容许那自称是先知的妇人耶洗别教导我的众奴仆，引诱他们淫乱、吃祭过偶像的食物。

如果他仍然不听，就应当告诉教会。如果他连教会也不听，就把他看作异教徒或税吏。

上帝自会审判教会以外的人，你们要把那邪恶的人从你们当中赶出去。

属于我的枝子如果不结果子，祂就把它剪掉；如果结果子，祂便修剪它，让它结更多的果子。

我必攻击你，用碱炼净你的渣滓，除尽你的杂质。我必像从前一样赐你审判官和谋士。之后，你必被称为公义之城、忠信之邑。”

对于制造分裂的人，警告过一两次后，要和他断绝来往。

我要消灭暗中毁谤邻居的人，也不容忍心高气傲的人。

赶走嘲讽者，纷争平息，争吵和羞辱也会消除。

‘我知道你的行为、劳碌和坚忍，也知道你疾恶如仇，曾查验出那些假冒的使徒，揭穿他们的虚假。

然而你还有一点可取之处，就是你跟我一样痛恨尼哥拉党人的行径。

你们要把这人交给撒旦去毁坏他的肉体，好使这人的灵魂在主耶稣再来的日子可以得救。你们自夸不是好事，岂不知一点面酵能使整团面发起来吗？
