the priest shall order that two live clean birds and some cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop be brought for the person to be cleansed.

Then the priest will order someone to bring him two live‘ clean’ birds. He will also order someone to bring him some cedar wood, bright red yarn and branches of a hyssop plant. All these things will be used to make the person‘ clean.’

拿一把牛膝草，蘸盆里的血，打在门楣上和左右的门框上。你们谁也不可出自己的房门，直到早晨。

因为摩西当日照着律法将各样诫命传给众百姓，就拿朱红色绒和牛膝草，把牛犊山羊的血和水洒在书上，又洒在众百姓身上，说：

求你用牛膝草洁净我，我就干净；求你洗涤我，我就比雪更白。

“人奉给耶和华的供物，若以鸟为燔祭，就要献斑鸠或是雏鸽为供物。

必当有一个洁净的人拿牛膝草蘸在这水中，把水洒在帐棚上，和一切器皿并帐棚内的众人身上，又洒在摸了骨头，或摸了被杀的，或摸了自死的，或摸了坟墓的那人身上。

“他的力量若不够献一只羊羔，就要因所犯的罪，把两只斑鸠或是两只雏鸽带到耶和华面前为赎愆祭：一只作赎罪祭，一只作燔祭。

要为洁净房子取两只鸟和香柏木、朱红色线并牛膝草，用瓦器盛活水，把一只鸟宰在上面，把香柏木、牛膝草、朱红色线，并那活鸟，都蘸在被宰的鸟血中与活水中，用以洒房子七次。要用鸟血、活水、活鸟、香柏木、牛膝草，并朱红色线，洁净那房子。

她的力量若不够献一只羊羔，她就要取两只斑鸠或是两只雏鸽，一只为燔祭，一只为赎罪祭。祭司要为她赎罪，她就洁净了。”
