有些人心里疑惑，你们要怜悯他们；有些人你们要拯救，把他们从火中抢救出来；又有些人你们要战战兢兢地怜悯他们，连染上情欲污渍的衣服也应当憎恶。

这些只是关于饮食和各样洁净的礼仪，是在“更新的时候”来到之前，为肉体立的规例。

我们在许多的事上都有过错，假如有人在言语上没有过错，他就是完全的人，也能够控制全身。

求你在天上垂听他们的祷告和恳求，为他们主持公道。

彼得说：“不行，你千万不可洗我的脚！”耶稣说：“如果我不洗你，你就与我没有关系了。”西门．彼得说：“主啊，那就不单洗我的脚，连我的手和头都洗吧！”耶稣说：“洗过澡的人，全身都洁净，只需要洗脚就可以了。你们是洁净的，但不是人人都是这样。”

谁能知道自己的错误呢？求你赦免我隐而未现的过失。

谁能说：“我洁净了我的心，我是清洁无罪的”？

拾起它们尸体的，就要洗净自己的衣服，并且不洁净到晚上。以上这些你们应以为不洁净。

你们要接纳信心软弱的人，不要论断引起争论的事。

他必以敬畏耶和华为乐。他不凭眼睛所见的施行审判，也不凭耳朵所听的断定是非；却要以公义审判贫穷人，以正直判断地上的困苦人；以口中的杖击打世界，以嘴里的气杀死恶人。

我们良心的邪恶既然被洒净，身体也用清水洗净了，那么，我们就应该怀着真诚的心和完备的信，进到神面前；

所以，亲爱的，我们有了这些应许，就应该洁净自己，除去身体和心灵上的一切污秽，存着敬畏神的心，达到成圣的地步。

世上实在没有一个行善而不犯罪的义人。

谁吃了它的尸体，就要洗净自己的衣服，并且不洁净到晚上；谁拾起这尸体，也要洗净自己的衣服，并且不洁净到晚上。

这世代向他行事败坏，就不是他的儿女，满有弊病，这实在是个乖僻弯曲的世代。

你的子民以色列，或是众人，或是个人，知道自己心里的苦痛，向这殿伸开双手所作的一切祷告、一切恳求，

“如果有人在皮肉上生了瘤，或癣，或火斑，后来皮肉变成了大痲风病症（本章病名多不能确定它们的学名。传统翻译作“痲风”的希伯来字，本章用来形容不同的皮肤病症），就要把他带到一个作祭司的亚伦子孙那里。

压伤的芦苇，他不折断；将熄灭的灯火，他不吹灭；他忠实地传出公理。
