And King Uzziah was a leper to the day of his death, and being a leper lived in a separate house, for he was excluded from the house of the Lord. And Jotham his son was over the king’s household, governing the people of the land.

you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.

If anyone does not obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person, and have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed.

But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

There are those who are clean in their own eyes but are not washed of their filth.

I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people—not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler— not even to eat with such a one.For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?God judges those outside.“ Purge the evil person from among you.”

Jerusalem sinned grievously; therefore she became filthy; all who honored her despise her, for they have seen her nakedness; she herself groans and turns her face away.

How lonely sits the city that was full of people! How like a widow has she become, she who was great among the nations! She who was a princess among the provinces has become a slave.

and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,“ Command the people of Israel that they put out of the camp everyone who is leprous or has a discharge and everyone who is unclean through contact with the dead.You shall put out both male and female, putting them outside the camp, that they may not defile their camp, in the midst of which I dwell.”And the people of Israel did so, and put them outside the camp; as the Lord said to Moses, so the people of Israel did.

And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance

Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
