遮掩自己罪过的，必不亨通；承认离弃罪过的，必蒙怜恤。

大卫对拿单说：“我得罪耶和华了！”拿单说：“耶和华已经除掉你的罪，你必不至于死。

倒不如赦免他，安慰他，免得他忧愁太过，甚至沉沦了。

“有谁对神说：‘我受了责罚，不再犯罪。我所看不明的，求你指教我；我若作了孽，必不再作’？

你们存这样的心，从今以后就可以不从人的情欲，只从神的旨意在世度余下的光阴。因为往日随从外邦人的心意行邪淫、恶欲、醉酒、荒宴、群饮，并可恶拜偶像的事，时候已经够了。

弟兄们，若有人偶然被过犯所胜，你们属灵的人就当用温柔的心把他挽回过来；又当自己小心，恐怕也被引诱。
