遮掩自己过犯的，必不亨通；承认并离弃过犯的，必蒙怜悯。

大卫对拿单说：“我得罪了耶和华了。”拿单对大卫说：“耶和华已经除去了你的罪，你必不至于死。

倒不如饶恕他，安慰他，免得他因忧愁过度而受不了。

有人对神说：‘我忍受了管教，不再有败坏的行为了，我所看不到的求你指教我，我若行了罪孽，必不再行’。

好叫你们不再随从人的私欲，只顺从神的旨意，在世上度余下的光阴。因为你们过去随从教外人的心意，行邪淫、私欲、醉酒、荒宴、狂饮和可憎拜偶像的事，时候已经够了。

弟兄们，如果有人陷在一些过犯里，你们属灵的人，要用温柔的心使他回转过来，自己却要小心，免得也被引诱。
