“ Suppose someone has a boil on their skin and it heals.

若肌膚生瘡而痊愈、

“ When someone has a boil on their skin and it heals,

“ If there is in the skin of one’s body a boil and it heals,

“ If anyone has a boil on the skin that has started to heal,

“ When a boil appears on the skin of someone’s body and it heals,

“ Now when the body has a boil on its skin and it is healed,

“ If the body develops a boil in the skin, and it is healed,

And when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a boil, and it is healed,

“ When a boil appears on the skin of one’s body and it heals,

The flesh also, in which,[ even] in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,

“ When someone’s body has a boil on its skin and it heals,

“ When the body has a boil on its skin, and it has healed,

The ashes will turn into fine dust over the whole land of Egypt. Then painful boils will break out on people and animals all over the land. Their bodies will be covered with them.”

When Hezekiah was sick, Isaiah had said,“ Press some figs together. Spread them on a piece of cloth. Apply them to Hezekiah’s boil. Then he’ll get well again.”

Then Isaiah said,“ Press some figs together. Spread them on a piece of cloth.” So that’s what they did. Then they applied it to Hezekiah’s boil. And he got well again.

Because of your anger, my whole body is sick. Because of my sin, I’m not healthy.My guilt has become too much for me. It is a load too heavy to carry.My wounds are ugly. They stink. I’ve been foolish. I have sinned.I am bent over. I’ve been brought very low. All day long I go around weeping.My back is filled with burning pain. My whole body is sick.

He said,“ I am the Lord your God. Listen carefully to me. Do what is right in my eyes. Pay attention to my commands. Obey all my rules. If you do, I will not send on you any of the sicknesses I sent on the Egyptians. I am the Lord who heals you.”

Then Satan left the Lord and went on his way. He sent painful sores on Job. They covered him from the bottom of his feet to the top of his head.
