The priest must look them over carefully. Suppose there is a white swelling in the skin. Suppose it has turned the hair white. And suppose there are open sores in the swelling.

雲亦離會幕、米哩暗患癩色皎若雪、亞倫視之、知其患癩、乃謂摩西曰、我儕愚昧、自取其戾、請吾主毋以罪歸我、毋使米哩暗若未彌厥月、胎腐於腹、生時已半朽者。

如肉紅腫、色已外現、則蒙不潔、祭司視之、必以為污、緣色紅腫、癩疾乃成、而蒙不潔。

祭司必察其疾、如疾處之毫變白、深入膚際、則屬癩疾、祭司既察之、必為不潔、如斑斕為白、不深入膚、其毫猶未白者、祭司必禁錮其人、歷至七日、

世不能惡爾而惡我、以我證其所行惡也、

夫光臨世、而人作惡、愛暗過於光、此所以定罪也、作不善者惡光、而不就光、恐所行見責、
